Dr Doebel received her PhD in 2014 from the University of Minnesota's Institute of Child Development and worked with Drs. Philip Zelazo and Melissa Koenig. She comes to GMU after completing her post-doctoral position at the University of Colorado Boulder, where she was mentored by Yuko Munakata, Akira Miyake, and Al Kim. Dr Doebel's research examines social and cultural influences on the development of executive functions (EF), and the role of language, logical thought and creativity. The ADP program is thrilled to have her join the program at GMU!
