Lütfiye is a first-year PhD student in the Applied Developmental Psychology program working with Dr. Sabine Doebel. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Ibn Haldun University in Türkiye and is also looking forward to completing her second major in Sociology at the same university. She further expanded her perspective on cultural and sociological aspects of child development and well-being through her research experience at the Culture, Society, and Behavior Lab at the University of Oslo. Building on these experiences, her research interests focus on how childhood play, screen use, and early life experiences are associated with later psychosocial development and executive function.
