Maggie is a first-year, first-generation master’s student in the Applied Developmental Psychology program in Dr. Sabine Doebel’s Developing Minds Lab. She graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology with a concentration in clinical from George Mason University in 2025. Her research interests include the development of executive function and self-regulation in early childhood, along with broader themes in child mental health. She is also particularly interested in how protective environments, coping strategies, and the development of autonomy support children as they navigate their growth. Outside of her academic pursuits, Maggie has 4 years of experience as a childcare provider with children aged 2 to 9 years old.
