Tabetha is a second year PhD student in the Applied Development Psychology program under the mentorship of Dr. Allison Jack. Tabetha graduated summa cum laude from the University of Alabama in 2021 with her Bachelor's in Psychology. Before coming to Mason, Tabetha was working as a research assistant at the University of North Carolina TEACCH Autism Program where she acted as the project coordinator for a federally funded project examining the efficacy of a transition to adulthood clinical intervention for autistic individuals, known as TEACCH's School Transition to Employment and Post Secondary Education (T-STEP) Program. Tabetha's current interests include autism and gender/sex intersectionality, autism in adulthood, late diagnosis of autism, and camouflaging of autistic traits. She is currently working to complete a Master's thesis around camouflaging and college adjustment. In her free time, Tabetha enjoys arts and crafts and spending time with her dog and cat.
